Stephen Doyle

Stephen brings to WSR Law a wealth of legal experience in the areas of corporate and commercial law and complex legal transactions.

Stephen joined WSR Law in late 2012 following a period at his own firm and 29 years at respected Perth firm, Jackson McDonald as a partner, board of management member, and corporate team leader.

Stephen has extensive experience in the areas of corporate law, ASX listing rules, compliance and regulatory issues (including FIRB), due diligence, director’s duties, capital raising and restructuring, prospectuses, privatisation, port authorities, statutory corporations, incorporated associations, mining, joint ventures, banking (PPSA), preparation and enforcement of securities, transfer duty, insolvency, and privacy issues.

Stephen has acted for:

• UK listed entities
• Australian ASX listed companies
• Banks and financial institutions
• Mortgagees, liquidators and receivers and managers
• SECWA and Alintagas on the break-up of SECWA and eventual float of Alintagas

Stephen is a member of various professional associations and bodies, has worked with the College of Law and is currently an appointed senior sessional member of the State Administrative Tribunal.
